Another Vijay movie James Bond style!
Like a Villu (bow), the film's hero Vijay's spirit is swift and result-oriented in terms of action and achievement. Hailing from a remote village, Villu Vijay is a true-blue village lad with incredible courage. His clear scruples and meticulous approach further add to his success and glory. For the wicked and scheming impostors, he is a terror. His reactions to their ulterior actions are sure to put a permanent end to them and their activities. Imagine the consequence when such a hero is after a baddie! Vijay comes to the city from the village searching for his enemy's whereabouts and when he does not find him there, continues searching abroad, crossing many countries. Does he find him at all? If so, where does he find him? What is the result of the encounter? Does Vijay's wrath spare the villain? Catch up with all the action on the big screen!
Heroine Nayantara is definitely going to steal the show with her gorgeous costumes, luring smile, amazing dance and enthralling comedy. How is Nayantara's role in Villu special? Well, her chemistry and timing with Vijay should offer a magical dimension and a bunch of sweet moments. The audiences liked the couple in Pokkiri so they should enjoy Villu too! Similarly, the Vijay-Vadivelu combo's comedy should pull audiences to Villu. Both are comedy giants and audiences' favourites in their own rights, so their combination spells only quality, star-studded laughs...The african monkey bit and Vadivelu dancing for nakku mukka...SIMPLY HILARIOUS.
Villu is a movie for purely satisfying Vijay fans, a commercial entertainer for the B & C audience. But, at a time where audiences have started appreciating movies like Poo, Vaaranam Aayiram and Abhiyum Naanum, a script like Villu is really regressing by taking audiences back to the 80's where movies where based on exaggerated sentiments. Let's hope Vijay chooses better scripts in the years to come and gives us movies like Poove Unagagha, Kushi and Priyamanavale.
Villu - Made for Vijay Fans...
WATCH IT GUYS...(psst...its better than kuruvi any time..)
